German premium car maker Audi creates, develops, manufactures, sells, and distributes high-end cars. Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany serves as the corporate home for Audi, a division of the Volkswagen Group. August Horch established the business in 1909 under the name “A. Horch & Cie.” The business was later changed to “Audi” in 1932, which is the Latin equivalent of the founder’s last name, “Horch.”

Audi is renowned for creating a variety of high-end vehicles, such as sedans, SUVs, sports cars, and electrified automobiles. The Audi A4, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, Q8, R8, and the e-tron electrified SUVs are some of Audi’s best-selling versions. Audi has a long heritage in racing, having won numerous competitions and titles.
