From 1968 to 1969, the Italian carmaker Lamborghini built the Lamborghini Islero, a grand tourer.
It was given that name in honor of the bull that killed renowned matador Manolete in 1947.

The Lamborghini Islero was created to be a more elegant and opulent vehicle than the 400 GT and 350 GT.It was propelled by a 4.0-liter V12 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission that could generate up to 320 horsepower.

The Lamborghini Islero had a basic front grille and a smooth, unadorned body, giving it a sleek and subtle appearance.
