Sports car manufacturer Lamborghini built the Silhouette from 1976 until 1979. It was intended to be a more accessible and reasonably priced model than Lamborghini’s Countach.
The Lamborghini Urraco served as the basis for the Silhouette, which had a revised body with a wedge-shaped profile and sharp, angular lines. It was propelled by a mid-mounted 3.0-liter V8 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission, putting out about 260 horsepower.
Only 52 units of the Lamborghini Silhouette were made throughout its manufacturing run since it did not sell as well as some of Lamborghini’s other models.
Yet, it is nevertheless regarded as a significant element of Lamborghini’s past and is still a favorite among enthusiasts and collectors.
